Facilities

The McM Web Hosting data centre provides a secure environment for our professional web hosting platform. Our facility is built to N+1 specifications, which means, if any one service fails, ie, electricity or air conditioning, a backup service will immediately take up the slack.

The facilites and services we use

Power

Dual power and Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) ensures all power to the service area is spike free and clean. The UPS can take over the data centre for up to five minutes if a power outage was to occur. However, within the timeframe of twenty seconds, our redundant generators then take on the complete data centre load.

Security

Our McM Web Hosting center is manned 24/7. If anything goes wrong, engineers can respond effectively to the problem at hand. Access to our centre is only possible through the use of Smart Card authentication, and via a master access list. CCTV operate throughout the facility, and access to our data centre is by authoriastion only.

Cooling & Fire Suppression

The data centre is maintained at 20oc to produce optimum equipment performance. Fire detection systems monitor for any sign of fire.
