How long does it take for my puchased domain name to become active?

We order Domain names as soon as you purchase them. This overall process takes between 24, to 72 hours, before becoming visible on the Web.

Do I have to buy both Domain and Web Hosting at the same time?

No, you can purchase one or the other seperately, at any time.

Do I own the Domain name I purchase?

Yes. It's all yours!

Can I transfer the Domain?

Yes, at any time. McM Web Hosting provides you with any easy to use control panel (cp) where you can make alterations. No additional fees.

Do I get a certificate of ownership with the Domain I purchase?

Nominet issued certificates up until August 2003. The expiry date on any remaining paper certificates remain valid, however these have now been replaced by Registrants Online - a continously updated online system.

How do I renew a Domain with McM Web Hosting?

All our customers are contacted 30 days before any expiry is due. It is up to you whether you decide to renew or not. Please make sure the email address supplied to us is one you regularly check.

Can I sell the domain i purchase to somebody else?

Yes. You own it. The Control Panel (cp) we provide allows you to transfer onwership quick and easily.

What payment methods can I use to purchase my Domain or Hosting?

For both, we accept PayPal, Google Checkout and Nochex.

Am I sent an invoice?

You'll sent an invoice everytime to you purchase with us, including renewing Domains or Hosting space. A record of all your invoices will be viewable via your Control Panel (cp).
